Christmas Eve

Thankfully things go a bit 'better.

I returned in Rome after many days of absence, I went to Piazza Navona (where I live... xD) they put the Christmas Market! Unfortunately not all those who were in the past, then, this year, no cotton candy or pancakes :( no loss, but it was a shame. At least for me xD

But there was the carousel, always nice to see. and to be photographed!

Turning to make gifts I went to eat ikura gunkan, my beloved ikura *.* (for who doesn't know, years ago I had two sushi bar in the center of Rome, and I was very good at making Takoyaki, but I hated Ikura. Now they are the my favorites xDDD ironically...) This is just one of the portions that I took xD

Then I went back to the Magnum Store for a ice cream (yes, I'm still on a diet xD by the way I lost 4 pounds, but for now it's Christmas, ice cream will not make me anything xD -I lost the pounds with the protein-shake!- )

Absent again. I was expecting that the next post concerned the Christmas meeting, but sickbay for an unexpected event (which I didn't want to talk, I'm sorry) I didn't participate. Will be for the next time.

These days I have been in Tagliacozzo, and I went out with my friends. I haven't photographed the outfits... just once, and then I place one of the last.

International Lolita Day on December 6

Finally after months and months of waiting Krad Lanrete - Ecailles de Lune it's come, and I put it more than once... I can't wait to wear the Haenuli's Stained Glass!

I don't know if I had already written that I started Tailoring Theatre's school... well, whatever proceeds. And well! I recovered the work and I'm going ahead with the first dress. I will update you soon.

For my self-Christmas gift I bought the new Anne Rice's Book Prince Lestat who I was expecting a long, as soon as I finish reading the autobiography of Dario Argento, I will read it!

Gothic Lolita's Meeting!

My computer is in assistance... I had promised myself that I would write this post the following day to the meeting, and instead BAM. The computer has been dropped from the table... for those who care is fine xD well, is alive, nothing broken hahaha xD and now I'm using another computer.

About this post... is better late than never. Right? (Only 11 days late, not bad for my standards)

We come to the topic of the post: on November 15th, I attended a Gothic Lolita's meeting.

This was my outfit:

After we met at the Termini Station, we went to Flaminio to take the tram up to Bakery House for the Tea Party.

we waited about thirty minutes before we can enter! we had a lot of hunger! (damn row)

However as soon as we enter, we get crazy; as a Tea Party-respecting, I left with an empty stomach so I'd eaten even the table xD so I ordered the white chocolate cake, a cinnamon roll (which I shared with Eleonora <3) and a tea apple and cinnamon... to start.

Not feeling full yet, I thought a slice of cheese cake with fruit jelly would be a great ending... I was wrong. After three forkfuls I was bursting out. 

So as a good "Lolita" (hahahahah don't kill me is ironic xD) I thought I would "share" my cake... 

The weather forecast said it would rain all day but no, fortunately it was a really nice day, and I enjoyed it very much.

Unfortunately back home I have been taken by storm xD but not a normal storm, it came all together, the deluge! Thank goodness I had the umbrella, otherwise I don't know what I would do xD my legs are completely wet (poor new socks ;____; ) but never mind... I can not wait for the new meeting! And possibly without rain XD Thanks to everyone :)

Deep Red Halloween!!!

Hello everyone, little freaks!!

I am not very present on the blog, I know, I'm sorry :( but I prefer to write only about topics that I cherish, rather than bore you with stupid post with the "outfit of the day ..." for that there is my instagram xD

Two days ago was one of my favorite holidays, Halloween *. * I think you all know where the name of it come from, right? 

The term is coined from "All-Hallows-Eve" (Eve of All Saints) but now it has become a celebration based more on consumerism than religion xD The tradition of: Trick or Treat? is (finally) got this far, then, at least for me, that day I can turn dressed in the worst ways without being attacked by anyone.

This year I had the opportunity to meet one of my idols: Dario Argento.

Like every year, the night of Halloween, his shop Profondo Rosso, remained open to allow the Maestro to meet his fans; but this time there was one more thing. He also signed autographs for his  new autobiography, "Paura", which just came out this October 31.

I bought it and I rushed to the store shortly before the scheduled time, finding a huge line of people who came to the event. After about an hour and a half in a row it came my turn, the Maestro was very kind, made me a dedication on the book and also signed the dress of my doll that I had sewn (and bloodstained xD) for the 'occasion. Then we snapped the photos, what a thrill! 

After... I went home! xD Yes, no party. The doctor forced me to go to bed early. But I was happy anyway.

Romics day 4

As promised here is the new post on the last day of Romics! 

We ate (sitting on the ground because there was no place to sit at the tables, and the people who had finished eating or who had not taken anything was sitting at tables occupying chair in most with coats and shopping bags .-. it remembers me a lot Baby, The Stars Shine Bright Paris Tea Party xD... btw) Takoyaki, onigiri, yakitori and dorayaki, very very good and tasty!

Fortunately, we have made ​​the right choice these days, considering there was another booth that sold sushi out of the fridge (you cannot do at all, I had a sushi bar and the sushi must always be in the fridge and if not eaten the same day cannot be consumed the next day!) and felt sick a lot of people. There are several articles that testify... I'm sorry, but it makes me think... all the people who came to my shop to do the sushi's expert and then go at the exhibition to eat fish exposed under the fluorescent lamp. Lol.. ok. 

I met many friends, people I had not seen for so many years... I feel good! I didn't get many pictures, sadly the camera had dead batteries, but I will download all the videos made with I-phone of the two folk groups Futhark and Rota Temporis who played the bagpipes these days.

I do not have all the pictures but I will update the post as soon as they arrive. :-* Meanwhile, I'll put the videos on youtube!

Romics day 2-3

Hello everyone! I realize that it's been too long, I apologize but I had a lot to do these days <.<

Yesterday and today I went to Romics! Is the first time in eight years that I don't go on Thursday, it seems strange... XD but let's move on to the serious conversations.

The 1 first day for me was Friday, October 3; since the first two days there is a lot of people and having no other cosplay ready, I decided to go in Lolita. I focused all day to make purchases XD This was my outfit:

When I arrived, I immediately started to make purchases before things would end, in fact today some of the things that I bought were gone already. 

I found Peach's Pocky that are delicious... and thank goodness I had promised "nothing to eat!" And of course I ate Takoyaki. (For who didn't know... years ago I had a Takoyaki shop in Rome, -the original handmade on the plate by myself- the first in Italy!) It was great, they were yummy. (little tear)

The second day was today! and I wore my Hizaki Masquerade cosplay <3 for who didn't know I sewed by myself! 

I was with my friend Silvia and we went around the Romics. I got to take a picture from Cosmoviex green background and made ​​to overlap on a picture of Versailles is the result! 

Too bad it is not the whole picture but I love it! Anyway here is a picture of the whole costume, do you like? I know I can improve, I'm still a beginner but to be one of the first I quite satisfied! (even if they are already 8 years that I attend the Romics... how time flies!) 

I remember when I was only ever Mana, with Gothic Lolita outfits and later live version... that nostalgia. Anyway I'll just make Mana very soon! With a costume even more beautiful. Now I'm going because tomorrow is the last day and I will write here when I get back! :-*

Did you expect a post on the Vogue Fashion Night Out? No. I didn't like it (as usual). Boring people, and badly dressed... I mean, not badly dressed (with the latest trends in fashion and shoes I would say that FINALLY I see original people) but they were all the same, nothing so wonderful and really "fashion".


Here I will talk of my favorite places in Rome (to eat !!! xD)

the first, of course, is Laduree. 
is the pastry par excellence, the biggest selling (and best) of Macarons. The macarons are two soft and flat meringues with cream or jam in various flavors, Laduree makes it different depending on the season. My favorites are: rose, caramel, tea Marie Antoinette, basil and peach. In Rome is quite small, they only have a few macarons and other sweet for the tea room but it's worth it.

The second is Bakery House.

is an American confectionery, from pancakes to Red velvet cake, from cupcakes with butter cream to the classic cheese cake with jam and red fruits. They are very friendly, there is free wi-fi, and the opportunity to order a personalized cake.

The third is Lindt.

not only chocolate and chocolates but also many good hot and cold desserts. I'm obsessed with chocolate! If you're like me, you must try their coffee! I love varesino, with whipped cream, chocolate, and small meringues on top. 

These are: on the left a white chocolate panna cotta with cream and chopped pistachios, and on the right a delicious Lindt chocolate cake.
